How far north are they believed to have gone on the mainland? I heard one remain has been found in southern Manchuria, while in the Japanese islands, a specimen was found 100km northeast of Sapporo, so what was the northern limit of Asian Palaeoloxodons? I know for P.antiquus they could roam as far north as Denmark and European Russia, but I haven't heard about the northern limits for mainland ones.
